Customer Review: Very Pleased
Great for the semi-professional parent with a baby or toddler. Love the crisp pictures it takes and I have a digital I also use but I’ve always held film in a special place since being my college editor back in the late 80’s and early 90’s before digital was the boom. Both lens are terrific and I am very pleased with the camera’s performance.

I bought this camera from Walmart for my birthday present a year ago but had been drooling over it for longer then that. After a year i had to send it back to Cannon to have service because a problem when i first put it together (never put a camera together while driving it gets dust inside the mirror cavity). The camera cost me just under 200 the repairs and shipping cost me over 200 more and they didn’t get the dust out! I’ve learned my lesson because the dust never shows up on a print(yea!!!) the pictures look great! I even achieved a stop motion on a fountain while not knowing what the heck i was doing. All i need now is lessons on how to use all the features that I’ve been playing with (usually without film in) all in all I love this camera and it’s sad that it seems to be the last film SLR that cannon plans on making.

Customer Review: Awesome lenses.
I was honestly worried ordering these because the old saying “you get what you pay for.” I’ve been happy with every shot though. The main lens I wanted was the 70-300mm for zoom shots and I love it. The 28-70mm performs well too. If you are an amateur just looking to expand your camera’s capabilities these are perfect. The only bad thing about these lens’s is they are not the super performance, super expensive ones the pro’s use. This can’t really count against the star count because they are not supposed to be. They are great for the price and if someone can get a better deal I’d like to know about it.
Customer Review: Very good lens kit for the money
I’m just getting started in the DSLR area, and I’m on a very tight budget. I did some research on different lenses, and wanted something that would supplement the kit lens that came with my Canon Xt. I knew I wanted a 70-300 lens, and when I found this set with the 28-70 lens also included, I felt I had found a good buy. I’ve used both lens for a couple of months now, and I’ve been very pleased with both of them. I know they’re not the same as the higher priced lens, but I’m extremely happy with them. They both have a good heavy feel to them, very solid; the auto-focusing works wonderfully, and when I put either lens on the camera, it always feels stable - no play in them whatever. In the future, I may move up to more expensive lens, but I imagine I’ll keep a set of these on hand, as well. They were such a good buy that I can use them while traveling, and won’t have to worry about damaging a high-ticket lens.

Customer Review: Slide n Round
This is an excellent camera bag and completely adaptable for Canon Rebel camera models. The quality is excellent too. It gets used on an almost daily basis and I have only one complaint. The shoulder strap slips when I wear a Landsend Classic Squall jacket (Supplex nylon). Not a problem with cotton materials. I could fix it with a homemade snap on strap cover, if I wasn’t so lazy.
Customer Review: solid bag!
I have three things to say about the bag: 1. it is roomy, padded, can fit a camera + extra lens + filters + cleaning kit and still have space left… 2. IT IS AWESOME: a) I left it on the beach and started walking, by the time I came back, the waves came to it, dragged it a little bit on the sand and toppled it over. I was very afraid, I ran down to it, opened it up and guess what? ALL THE CONTENTS WERE DRY!!!! :) the camera, the filters, the lens… everything! I was SO SO SO SO happy b) I was shooting pictures on a hill, and it was foggy and slippery, so on my way down, I slipped, knocked the ground hard and slid a bit (my bag did the same ). NOTHING BROKE the bag is really nicely padded and will keep your contents safe If I ever buy another bag… I will buy the SAME bag. 3) You don’t have to go for $100+ bags to get PROTECTION… most of them will get you STYLE. That being said, the bag is NOT a stylish bag… it is kinda boxy and clunky and all… but if you ask me, it gets the job done… and I happen to be of the opinion that the job of the bag is to protect the contents, not to be flashy. Thanks!
